After 18 months of hard work, a lot of capital put into this project, the dream is becoming a reality! This amazing piece of recreational and fishing equipment is finally going to be available for purchase. We had quite a few pre-orders in August of 2020 when we announced our new boat, but with Covid in full swing and us not willing to lower our standards of quality, we decided to keep working on the manufacturing process until we got what we were looking for! This time is finally upon us!
What does that mean for you? If you have been waiting for somebody to make a lightweight, carbon fiber fishing/recreational kayak, we have done it! If you have been waiting for Apex Watercraft to finally make it available to purchase, today is the first day we are opening up our ordering process since last year.
What can you expect? We have 18 boats to build that were pre-ordered. They will get built starting now until the first of 2022. Boats will be delivered on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in getting one of your own, you can look at our dealer list and order from one of them, or you can order directly from Apex Watercraft as well. Getting yours in the production line-up now is the best way to assure you have a full 2022 season with it!
I have been putting the boat to the test for the past year, in paddling mode and in Torqeedo mode. I have run whitewater, lots of super shallow creeks, big lakes, and covered a lot of distance. The performance of this boat as a kayak is incredible. Super responsive, easy to load and unload, and super fast on the water. I have had some good finishes in it during the KBF season with a couple of 2nd places in the Trail Series, and I won the KBF Big Bass of the Season for 2021 during the National Championships.
