Hey EJ and Joe –
Now that the snow is melting and the rivers are up, I’ve finally been able to get my Ringer out on my local run (Gallatin River) with decent flows. I figured I’d drop you both a quick email to let you know just how stoked I am about my AMAZING new boat.
The lighter weight is obviously easier to load and unload, but the real difference for me is in the water. The design, stiffness, and weight of the Ringer make it so responsive and just plain FAST! That crazy-fast hull speed has me surfing waves I haven’t caught in years, and catching other waves I never bothered trying to catch before because my boat would never stay on them. The way the boat performs has me smiling all the way from the put-in to the take-out!
Also, just FYI, I was surprised to find out a week ago that a good friend of mine here (Bob Crayton) bought a Ringer from you last year. And, he was driving through Anaconda, Montana a few days ago and he spotted another Apex on the roof rack of a car with British Columbia license plates. I’ve also had a couple folks on the river ask “Is that one of those new Apex boats”? So, the word is getting out, and I am sure more and more folks are going to be wanting to get into your boats.
