Über 80 Kanufreestyler aus 29 Vereinen trafen sich am vergangenen Wochenende im Hallenbad in Untertürkheim (nähe Stuttgart) um dort um Punkte für den Schülercup und den Tittel des Baden-Württembergischen Meisters zu Kämpfen.
Der von KABI uns seinem Team des SG Untertürkheim, bestens organisierte Event, begann am Freitagabend mit einem offenen Training. Übernachtet wurde in den umliegenden Bootshäusern sowie im Bootshaus des KV Esslingen.
Der Samstag, stand ganz im Zeichen des Wettkampfes. In den 10 Stunden mussten von Hauptschiedsrichte Philipp Josef uns seinem Team mehr als 300 Läufe bewertet werden.
Im freien Teil des Beckens bestand erstmalig die Möglichkeit den Apex Rebound S zu testen.

Der Rebound zauberte durch sein minimales Gewicht und der optimalen Fahreigenschaften so manches Grinsen bei den testeten ins Gesicht.
Teamfahrer Sebastian zeigte im Finale, was mit dem Rebound auch als C1 Ausbau möglich ist.
An der am Abend stattfindend Siegerehrung wurden die Sieger mit Pokalen und für die Platzierten Teilnehmer mit Medaillen belohnt. Beim gemeinsamen Pizzaessen wurden neue Freundschaften geknüpft und alte Freundschaften gepflegt.
